Welcome to the October Tenant Engagement news bulletin. We have lots of great events for our tenants to take part in this month. We have a Halloween themed Bingo event for adults and children with lots of extra spooktacular prizes for those who take part; We have a Halloween photo competition; Parents First Aid Training and an Interior Design Workshop.
Firstly, a big thank you to every resident that got involved with TORC’s Daffodil planting initiative. So far, residents have planted a massive 1400 Daffodil bulbs in our housing schemes in Roscommon, Galway and Clare. Tenant Engagement also provided 2000 mini Dwarf Daffodil bulbs for residents to plant in their home and gardens. We can’t wait to see the communal areas of these schemes in full bloom in Spring!
In this highly informative two-hour online class, you will learn essential life-saving techniques enabling you to act quickly in the event of a family medical emergency. The training is facilitated by highly qualified and experienced first aid instructors. This First Aid class is targeted at parents and childminders, but any person interested in paediatric care can attend.

In partnership with Tuath Housing, we are bringing you a spooktacular Halloween Bingo event on Friday 29th October. It will be lots of fun for adults and children. Spook us out with your best Halloween costume photo. All you need to do is email or Whatsapp a photo dressed in your favourite Halloween costume. See the poster for full details. There is one €25 One4all vouchers prize for each TORC Scheme. Closing date for entries Thursday 4th November.
Popular Interior Designer and Social Media Influencer Aoife from Style So Simple believes that Style doesn’t have to cost a fortune. She is joining us for an online workshop on Thursday November 4th at 6pm. She will be showing TORC residents how to create beautiful interiors that don’t break the budget by providing lots of tips and tricks from lighting and colour schemes to hanging wall art and frames. There is also a huge prize up for grabs for attendees- a one-hour virtual design consultation with Aoife – worth €149, as well as vouchers for some of Aoife’s favourite suppliers – EZ Living Interiors, DFS and woodies.
