Community Sign Design Initiative Launched
Through consultation with the Pairc Ui Mhuirithe and Cluain Ailbhe Resident Groups, TORC is launching an initiative to help tackle issues on site such as littering, dog fouling and speeding. The aim is to try and shine a light on these issues and the destructive impact they have on communities. This in turn will hopefully change people’s behaviors for the better and schemes will be safer and cleaner.
TORC is asking young residents to design their own community signs. We will then select 10 sign designs from each area, print them on Plastic board and install them around the schemes. Selected designs will receive a One4All voucher as well. TORC will provide all materials needed in the ‘Poster Pack’.
The ‘Poster Pack’ will include:
- A4 pages for designs
- Pack of colouring pens/crayons
- Return hard back envelope and stamp
The deadline to register for a ‘Poster Pack’ is 21st September 2022. Packs will be sent out shortly afterwards.
This initiative is open to TORC residents aged 4-18 living in Macroom or Clane.
