December TORC News Bulletin
Welcome to the December edition of the tenant engagement News Bulletin. We hope that you have enjoyed our monthly bulletins throughout this year. This month, you can get involved by requesting an Art kit or a First Aid Kit, checking out the Interior Design Workshop on our Youtube channel, participating in the Christmas Bingo or putting up some lovely home decorations for the Christmas Decoration Competition.
A big welcome to our new residents who have received their keys to 26 TORC homes in Macroom, Galway, Skibbereen and Clane over the past month. We’re happy to have you in the TORC community!
Christmas Card Design Competition Winners

Upcoming events
1/ Christmas Decoration Competition
Your Housing Services Coordinator – Peter or Stephen – will be on each TORC scheme between the 9th and 23rd of December and will be checking out all the Christmas home decorations and lights. They will be picking a winner and a runner up for each scheme who will receive either a €50 or €25 voucher. Good Luck!
2/ Painting Kits & A New Painting Class on the TORC YouTube Channel
For anyone that missed the TORC painting class in collaboration with Rochelle Lucey Artist in July, we have now launched a NEW full class on our YouTube channel.
If you have a painting kit from the last class, simply follow this link to you YouTube video and follow along.

3/ Interior Design Workshop Now Available On The TORC YouTube Channel
If you were not able to make it to the Interior Design Workshop in November with Aoife from Style So Simple, you can still access the class through the TORC YouTube Channel. Aoife covered everything from Interior Design basics, Colour and Colour Schemes, Furniture placement tips and best layout to Rugs, Artwork and Wall Finishes.
4/ First Aid Kits – Request One For Your Home
Well Done to all of the TORC Residents who completed one of the 3 Parent First Aid Training courses we ran throughout the year.
If you are still awaiting your certificate and First Aid Kits, they are still on the way to you! Packages will be sent out over the next week.
We also have some extra First Aid Kits we would like to offer to our residents. If you would like to receive a first Aid Kit and Paediatric First Aid Information Booklet, email:

5/ Reminder: Christmas Online Bingo, Friday 17th December 12pm
6/ Christmas Craft Packs- Delivery
We’re pleased to say that we had a huge response to the registration for the Christmas craft packs for children and the DIY Christmas Wreath packs that we launched last month- well over 100 participants! The packs are now fully put together and they will be coming through your doors in the next few days.
The TORC team would LOVE to see all the decorations and wreaths once they are fully made, so please email or WhatsApp a photo to us 😊
