Torc Sustainable Housing is committed to maintaining affordable rents for people on low incomes.
Rents are calculated using the following:
Differential Rent Scheme
The scheme calculates your rent dependent upon your income using the County Councils Differential Rent Policy. Each household’s rent is calculated as a percentage of the household income. If there is a change in income this will affect your weekly rent and TORC’s Rent Department needs to be notified.
A copy of the rent calculation is included with your offer of tenancy.
Confidential Income Statement
Between every January and April each year, Torc Sustainable Housing will review and calculate all rents and incomes, all rent changes will be applicable from the 1st Monday in April.
